Kilted Dead Lift

405 pound dead lift in a  sport kilt.  Because, well, why not. 

Strong. No Stamina.

So I'm probably the strongest I've ever been, but I don't have any stamina.  I guess I need to run.

Sunday After Spartan

One full week of 4k calories. Sitting steady at 195 or so. Benched well this morning, easily throwing up 225 after my 25 rep work out. Still a light weight there. Started the 20 rep squat workout in lieu of the 5-3-1 for squat. Finished easily, meaning I need to jack my weight way up. Will do so next round (Friday?).  Also did XXX by finishing out a grip rather than weight. Liked it much better.

Tracking Calories...

First time I've actually tracked my calorie count in a day while trying to get to a certain place. Got 4200 calories in, was supposed to get 4000. Almost 400 g protein. This ain't fun. First dead lift tonight. We'll see how it goes.

New Goal

So I've decided that my rather low Carb diet is hindering my strength gains. After much discussion with my trainer, I'm going to try to add a lot more food on my heavy lift days - eat like it's my job, in other words. Going to try it for four weeks and see how it works.
